The atonement is a doctrine found within both Christianity and Judaism. It describes how sin can be forgiven by God. What I like about this painting is the way in which we are not sure if this is a cube being brought to life and given legs, or whether it is a bird or small animal, that has been punished, and turned into a cube. |
